It is not rash judgement. The society was directly told by the Holy Father not to consecrate and proceeded to do the exact opposite.
@HarrisonGarlic1 Not really since they have valid apostolic succession and sacraments.
As well as not holding to any Protestant doctrines.
It would’ve been better to say they are like the Eastern Orthodox.

Let us hope for the best and pray that whatever happens, the glory of God in some way, shape, or form will penetrate through the darkness and shine forth in the midst of this tunnel.

I would be remiss to not recognize that Pope Leo XIV by his potential actions could send the potential schism into overdrive if he is willing to excommunicate the SSPX while at the same time refusing to remove members of the hierarchy who seek to scatter the flock of Christ.

while they call it a sin to attend the Novus Ordo and use Canon Law as a weapon against the Church through a law that doesn’t affect them or the Church in the slightest currently.

prepare to tear apart the Body of Christ over their personal beliefs and demands against the Roman Church.
However, this has been a long time coming. The SSPX claims to be obedient to the Pope while at the same time demanding that he consent to their consecrations…

I’d by lying if I said a part of me wasn’t sad over the whole matter, I am very much saddened at the sight of the society that I used to love dearly…
