Explaining how a psychaitric condition can contribute to an act is not the same as excusing the act. You can acknowledge that killing children is horrific while also recognising that someone experiencing severe psychosis may not have the same perception of realitu or. the capacity of judgement as a mentally healthy person

Your statements are based off of a lack of awareness. Psychosis can severely distort a person's perception of reality, including who is a threat, what's happening, and what they believe they must do. Nobody is saying killing three children is a "mistake".. the point is that severe psychosis can profoundly impair someone's grasp of reality.

A serving Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been accused of sponsoring and supporting terrorists, with video evidence allegedly showing some of these individuals in his residence. These are people causing havoc in what was once a peaceful country, yet the Senator is still walking freely, and the security forces have reportedly not invited him for questioning. It is difficult not to conclude that the Nigerian government is either condoning or failing to adequately address those accused of destabilising the country.
