@DallasFlexhaug 10 years is not long enough to forget the 10 foot wall of water that went thru @TownOfHighRiver, up over my artwork, lives were lost, followed by the financial, mental, emotional & physical stress it put on so many. Fighting with the gov’t for 5 years after the flood was hard.

@BryanPassifiume Hey @BryanPassifiume the date was April 29th, 1903. Only 70 people were killed, miners survived & dug themselves out thru a coal shaft. The slide didn't bury the whole town but a small portion of it. (See photo) The town was moved west after the slide. Photos from Leth Historical
