@tiger_hype Melbourne and Bulldogs didn’t find out that there was wildcard finals last week. All clubs knew at the start of the season there would be ten finalists the lowest four playing in a wildcard round. Just because you find yourself finishing 7th or 8th doesn’t make it unfair

@SandraEckersley That’s not why they were stood down. They were stood down for drinking being out late and inviting girls back. In that context it’s quite a steep penalty. There are yet more potential penalties for the assault itself which would be warranted but need to be proven first

@StevePence7726 @GAV_OG Yep it’s the clubs over reaction that will impact the club. If I was Blakey for example and got suspended for 5 weeks missing a finals series because I was out late drinking the same thing most of my teammates have done during the year I am looking for another club.

@Sutto2606 Suspended for the remainder of the season seems a bit harsh. They don’t seem to able to identify what the standards actually are. Coach out at 12 ok because they got back from the game late but players out at 2 is works 5 weeks. Have other Sydney players been out drinking late?
