Basic Price of $Lit should be
$7 – $10
That’s it
No moon math, no narratives just stats
At $2– $3 $LIT is priced far below what its own usage metrics justify
GLighter
There is only 2 cryptocurrencies in the world deployed legally and directly by a US company: $XRP and $LIT
the first is $112B market cap with zero revenue,
the second is only $700m with $105m annualized revenue.
you will sell all your $LIT to me and will regret it.
Congratulations to Lighter bros on a higher valuation than most L1s!
Didn't open as high as many people wanted, dominated by airdrop sell pressure (as expected) & nuances that made it very different from HYPE's TGE
That being said, LIT has impressed me
There will be a time to short but that time is not today
here’s why lighter could hit $4b within a week
we’re seeing an interesting pattern with $lit rn. price tried to dip to the $2.2 area twice already, and both times it got aggressively bought up with massive market orders
then you have public cases like justin sun buying roughly $30m worth of $lit, around 5% of the circulating supply, about 11M tokens. whales are clearly accumulating heavy bags, and it looks very likely that retail is simply running out of tokens. and you know what that usually means
right now, only about 25% of the total supply is circulating, mostly distributed to @Lighter_xyz airdrop farmers based on points. a lot of that supply was sold early because it felt like free money. the result is that a relatively small float is now being actively absorbed by whales on every dip
it’s very possible that retail ownership drops below a certain threshold and once that happens, whales can start moving the order book much more aggressively. we already saw this in action. justin sun’s ~$30m buy alone pushed the price up almost $0.5, adding roughly $125m to mc
i wouldn’t be surprised to see $3.2–$4.0 very soon, potentially within days. what do u think about it?
Anthony Jushua finally decided to retire from Boxing due to th3 recent acc¡d£nt that happened and took two of his best friends at the spot 😢😢😢. This is really a hard time for him and the families affected
I love Jeff and respect what he has built with HL!
Also i love how he built it, with privilege. But let's be real. If sector believes Jeff's way is the correct way we won't have any builders.
What he sayas sounds heroic, but let's be real about the "Privilege" required to take this stance.
- No Deals: It is easy to say "No Market Maker Deals" when the founder owns a HFT firm (Chameleon). You didn't need a deal because you were the liquidity. Not everyone, every start-up has this privilege. Internet capital markets needs capital to create a healthy market, there is nothing wrong about it, don't show it it's like a bad thing.
- No Private Investors: this is great, but it means Self-Funded by wealthy founders. Is it more fair that only rich founders can build protocols? Or is it okay for builders to take funding/partnerships to compete with giants like you? Let's leave every protocol to build by binance then, if there is no capital raise who are gonna push the limits?
- Hyperliquid replaced Private Deals with having all stack by the founder, the chain, and the primary MM all connected. This is not the same as Neutrality. It just means the deal was internal, not external.
- For the HLP, let’s be real, the launch was not purely "community." HLP allowed insider whales (and likely internal capital) to farm the majority of the rewards. It was permissionless, yes, but it rewarded capital, not just contribution.
It's easy to say "no" when you don't need it but this doesn't make its' the best way to do it.
If you normalize this you won't find any builders in few years. There are bunch of important things to improve and discuss. This is just salty attack to ur potential competitor. Very CZ vibes.
It's good to have a competitor pushes your limits. Just accept they are good, solid and move with your way. You have the advantege, use it.
