It branched out later and naming it Han Buddhism, in comparison to Tibetan Buddhism, simply was for the purpose differentiate teachings and interpretations. At the core, key sutras are that of translated from Sanskrit. There isn’t any doubt.

One i can think of is Chinese system is top down that provincial must follow federal decisions, whereas in the US, the states get to differ.

@Kanthan2030 Not that i am a fan of Modi, but i think you shouldn’t underestimate his gov shrewdness in playing with geopolitics. Base on what i observed, as long as India internally is stable, Modi’s gov makes very rational decisions based on India’s interests.

@jamesjansson @business Perhaps you should ask your gov to start with recognizing Taiwan, or Republic of China officially, as a State and establish diplomatic relations first? No? I guess words easier said than done.
