Happy New Year from inside the potting shed! Contemplating the new year on the plot. Three plot holders have just retired, one a good friend who has just has a stroke. We were hoping to have catch up cups of tea on my plot later in the year, let’s hope that can still happen.

Can anyone suggest a good watering can rose please? The one I have doesn’t sprinkle at all and poor seeds/seedlings are being battered under a waterfall rather than a gentle shower. #allotment #growyourown

My sister gave me her young asparagus crowns, grown from seed this time last year, just before she died. I’m so pleased and relieved that after a year of nurturing shoots are beginning to show 💜
