“I am against liberty. I am for the Holy Inquisition. Liberty is shit, and that is why all countries are sinking because of excess of liberty.”
- Salvador Dalí
@Nanek_4@RaspberryFella A physical and moral coward for abandoning one's country instead of taking care of one's neighbours. I say this as a Ukraine supporter.
@OrthodoxOrigen That phase concluded with the modus ponens arguments of progressivism being flipped into modus tollens arguments. Populist demagogues appealed to the people's eyes. The answer to any populist error isn't reactionary liberalism. It's a further modus tollens for counterrevolution.
@OrthodoxOrigen What an early 2000s thing to say.
State controlled religion and heresy laws aren't especially Middle Eastern. In practice every community has them and in principle every community has a right to them. The question should instead be substantive goods.
@ImperialFedGB@9Kings1910@TheLeftMons The traditional sense from Babylon to Rome is universal monarchy. Italy's experience of the imperial idea is participation in it.
@cathcrusader123 Vladar/vladarica is a very good association because of the etymology. Vladika doesn't necessarily refer to bishops. It's a word that can mean bishop because its original sense is synonymous with gospodi (lord) which is how some Slavs respectfully called their bishops.
@cappadocianisms @WalkingHumbl Mary isn't a *priest*, just as she isn't a police*man*. She participates in the *type* of *priestess* by praying to her Son for man. Every baptised Christian participates in the type because it's a duty that comes with it. She isn't part of the clergy. Also, why past tense?
@energeiologian We call bishops lord (vladiko). That doesn't mean calling Our Lady Our Lady is calling her a bishopress. It's an equivocation fallacy. The word is used in two different senses. This would be like a protestant accusing us of calling her God because we call Him the Lord.
@OrthodoxOrigen «For also when we were with you, this we declared to you: that, if any man will not work, neither let him eat.»
How is equity Christian?
Europeans are not white and vice versa. All Christians are European.
You're an americanist despite the good, ordered desire not to be.
