A SURPRISE for Halloween! 🎃 Behind the scenes I have been working on producing a Fleshport inspired song and animated video. If you enjoyed this production, please like and share DON'T LET ME LEAVE. 🙏

Other than Googling game studios and applying through applications like LinkedIn, how do you find careers in game design? I would love to experience working on a team as a technical artist, content designer, or programmer!

Hey! I have a question for gamers and developers alike: Do you think it'd be a good idea for a developer to upload a video playthrough of their game, or do you find that having a guide readily available spoils the experience? What kind of guide do you think is best?

Well, well- Silent Hill 2 is trending! This got me thinking about if I had put any obvious SH2 references in Fleshport.
Who would have no reservations about sticking their hand into an ominous hole? 🙋‍♂️

@jazparsonsdev Thanks man, that means a lot to me!

@jazparsonsdev Thank you for hosting!
Fleshport was fully released in 2021, but I still hope to find more players who are interested in a game with a surreal, dystopian setting and original pixel art.

Fleshport is a horror-adventure game taking place in a surreal dystopia where cannibalism is a normal facet of everyday life.

I found this Fleshport screenshot (from 2018) where I was testing out the mechanics for laying food on the floor. 🍔 What silly things would you do with access to infinite burgers?

In 2021, a fan messaged me with high praises of Fleshport and gifted me fan art. Today, they emailed me again, saying that Fleshport is their favorite horror game. I'm incredibly grateful that someone felt this way about something I made, and still does years later. Thank you. 🥲

"The Family Loft" (est. 2016) was one of my favorite rooms to make in Fleshport. The Foo dogs were a later addition for the 2023 anniversary update. I wonder how this room would have looked if I made these assets today? 🤔

Fleshport is an atmospheric 2D horror-adventure game where you play as a child lost in an apocalyptic parallel dimension.

There are many scenes I love in Fleshport, but this is perhaps my favorite screenshot. 🥰 The colors speak to me.

🔍 Here's some trivia for #screenshotSaturday!
There are lyrics in the song "Don't Let Me Leave" that directly reflect comments Peoria has made in-game. Have you found these cutscenes in Fleshport?

Hey #gamedevs How long have you ben working on your game for.

Comment Below.

[Zen @ZentientGames]

@sensational965 It took me over 5 years to complete Fleshport, 6 after adding a few patches and a big update. I created the artwork, sound effects, and music. I used several scripts provided by community RPG Maker experts, as well as some of my own.
Completing it was hard, but I'm glad I did.

🎃 Happy Halloween! May you all have a fun and safe evening.
