I see a lot of people lamenting the industry struggling lately and there is of course legitimate concerns here.

But a lot of western studios in particular have been doing the same thing... . Have a great ip people love and then do NOTHING with it whatsoever.

The fact the new Mass Effect was in PRE PRODUCTION still is fucking insane. Clearly some massive mis management at the publisher and developer levels to let it happen. What the fuck were they doing all this time?

This isn't just a Bioware issue though, looking at Microsofts studios its perhaps even worse:- Elder Scrolls 6 has been in development for ages and instead of pushing on it they shat out fucking Starfield a game most people hate, Obsidian released fucking AVOWED and The Outer Worlds when Fallout New Vegas 2 was right there. Its just a mess of bizarre priorities.
