Character assassination and loosely tied plot threads and arcs that make it seem like multiple answers are both right and wrong.
It literally all comes down to: why is Eren doing this?
The answer can be he's still that kid longing for freedom and revenge.
It can also be that he's a man trying to protect his home and friends but if this is the case why does he let them get killed and maimed?
Is he a slave to fate or the ultimate freedom fighter? If its the former then Ymir is calling the shots making the Rumbling make no sense. If its the latter then Eren should have all the power to continue his plan since he went through massive effort to get the Founding Titan's power in his favor.
If he was doing this for love then why not finish the job to make sure you lover is safe?
Why is a character like Mikasa suddenly more important than Historia when the latter is the one with the dedicated arc telling us how important she is.
Why are we presented Eren doing masterful keikaku 4D chess when in the end he just tells us he doesn't know why he did this?
Why is the final reveal basically telling the audience their theories were wrong and it was all for some autistic girl's shipping fantasy?
Only Ymir knows.
There was so much passion in writing their relationship.
The way Eren trusted her to kill him but she chose him over humanity. She saved him and he made her happy and he devoted himself to protect her. They are absolutely perfect for each other.
I want the character I fell in love with back. The one who was trapped in a cage with multiple obstacles thrown at him but kept moving forward regardless. Instead we have an “idiot” who wasn’t even moving forward by his own will but rather Mikasa’s choice.
It's an OP so AOE in Ep...Episodic Format, The production of the special ep is garbage cuz the true production is left to the true ending in the episodes
