We are excited to announce: Zero Foodprint is collaborating with Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture and the Environment on a project that was awarded a USDA Climate-Smart Commodities Grant! This alliance between organizations will support the adoption of climate smart practices.
@cesalozada Hopefully, this sheds some light on your concerns, and we'd love the opportunity to talk to you further about the research that has guided our decision to invest directly in shifting on-farm practices. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more!
@cesalozada Each contribution from a diner at a 1% member goes to regional farmers, increasing the local supply of regenerative products. Guests dining with our partners are always given the opportunity to opt out from donating to ZFP if they choose to.
@cesalozada Through small donations across the food system, like the ones from Jax Fish House, we’re able to fund farming projects that focus on restoring soil health, helping to draw carbon from the atmosphere and store it underground.
@cesalozada Hi @cesalozada, thank you for your thoughts. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our mission! At Zero Foodprint, we’re dedicated to bringing the next regenerative practice to the next acre of farmland.

In Y2, purists would say keep the cow on grass and eat less beef. A capitalist: $ saved on feed and can still corn finish! A pragmatist: fatter cows after Y1 means less feed, crowding, antibiotics etc. But we must all be for the benefits of regen grazing, even if you’re anti-beef
This is easily solved. @GeorgeMonbiot and @tamarhaspel all land presently devoted to grazing should be managed according to regen principles @AllanRSavory and others. No question here. The average daily gain of the cow is usually double in year one. Year two is more fraught. 1/2

Super psyched by this Fungal dominant compost trial in CO:
