The scaffold came down at St Lawrence’s, Gumfreston, Pembrokeshire recently, and we could hardly believe our eyes.

We are very lucky to have a rare chalk stream running through our town. The #LetcombeBrook runs from Letcombe Regis to East Hanney. The brook is a home to protected species such as white-clawed crayfish and water voles

Until 1868, all Anglican churches were legally required to display the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed, and the Ten Commandments on their east walls. In Tuxlith Chapel, West Sussex, these once mandatory fittings survive, along with an enormous 18th-century wine-glass stem pulpit.
