#WorldSuicidePreventionDay
One year on from lockdown and many people have been reflecting on their mental health. It is vital people receive the support they need whether preventative interventions or bereavement care. We can and must do more #lockdownanniversary
Our hearts go out to Meghan and thank her for her honesty in her struggle with her mental health and suicidal thoughts. We hope this can provoke a discussion on #SuicidePrevention and how suicidal thoughts do not discriminate based on your circumstances.
@MyWakefield The image of a noose is really not appropriate.
Thank you for raising this issue but please consider the language and imagery you use.
We would request you take it down and reupload it without the offending graphic.
We support lockdown to save lives and protect the NHS. However we are unconvinced by the government's potential proposals to put further limits and restrictions on outdoor exercise. It is a lifeline for our wellbeing in these difficult times.

Today marks 3 years since the ZSA was formed. In that time we have trained nearly 1.5 million people in suicide awareness, worked with over 800 businesses to develop positive mental health in the work place and engaged with over 2,500 ZSA supporters 💛 #HappybirthdayZSA
We want to wish Happy Diwali to our supporters who are celebrating today. As usual celebrations have had to be altered to fit with lockdown measures we know that some people may be celebrating alone. Times will get better, Diwali reminds us that light triumphs over darkness 🕯️💛
The facts around trans people and suicide are shocking. Awareness of the realities for trans people is low and it is important we change that. We need to see action to provide better suicide prevention for trans people #TransAwarenessWeek
This is an irresponsible way to discuss deaths by suicide, using language that is not becoming of the Minister with whom responsibility for suicide prevention lies. It is also irresponsible to discuss figures related to suicide which have not been released by the ONS.
[TW: suicide] This is an absolute disgrace from Nadine Dorries, seeing what she wants to see, & it makes me so angry. Even in my limited internet bubble, several folks I care about have been dangerously close to the edge already this month (& this year). You're MH minister, ffs!
