I wish the game industry would settle on certain terminology. Even grouping everything that doesn't have drastic gameplay changes into the "remaster" box doesn't work.
I'm all for this trend of repackaging gacha games as offline releases, but how many devs are going to bother adjusting things, since there's no longer a grind to pay your way through?
"It won't replace the original" does not mean that the public (specially who never played the originals) won't treat it as the main version
It means the original still exists, preserved and widely available.
It it still there. They did not take the original away.
