@ThatJoeCamello @GrandLineReview @InTheLittleWood No, the pacing of the early one piece was a lot better (~2 chapters per episode). It started degrading around Skypiea when the anime started catching up with the manga. For example, Luffy meets Sanji in episode 20 but chapter 43.

@ThatJoeCamello @GrandLineReview @InTheLittleWood You don't need to. Each episode of the remake is 40 minutes covering 7 chapters. So each 20 minutes covers 3.5 chapters. The toei version covers 2 chapters per episode. So it isn't 3x faster, it's 1.75x faster which is much more reasonable
