I’m really pleased to be able to share high-res scans of this early promo poster with Pokémon fans life-long & new
It was in distributed in Australia to promote Red & Blue, it’s of significance because it features early English names for nearly half of the 150 featured Pokemon
@saffer70@ramin_parsa@EthanLevins2 While definitely overstated for dramatic effect, studies & large scale surveys such as this one reveal that as little as 40% of Iranian population identify as being Muslims.

i was banned from the pokemon subreddit when i was in high school because I said "I don't get the hate, ultra sun and ultra moon are r/sounding pretty good" and it hyperlinked
@Flareferno@AussieYak@SerebiiNet Southland and Chadstone had run out completely by noon and there’s no indication that they’ll be receiving any more.
It sounds like they really underestimated the demand.
@HiddenPowerPod@SeppenKuma I really can’t imagine them revisiting Alola any time soon, especially given the reported setting of Gaia/Gen10. Maybe at the end of the Switch 2’s lifetime? Or if it was set on a single expanded island, like LZ-A is a single city? But that would defeat the purpose.
A few press outlets have now covered the SEGA raid story but this goes far beyond a niche legal dispute. What we’re looking at is nothing less than a preservation disaster and a dangerous precedent for collectors, archivists, and the gaming community.
We urgently need the support of the wider community to keep this story alive and visible. Share it, talk about it, question it. When private companies can call in the police to raid homes over discarded hardware, the stakes are bigger than any one publisher.
And this is only the beginning. More information is coming, and the full extent of this scandal will soon be clear to everyone.
Our only request: keep it constructive. No hate or harassment towards companies or individuals the focus should stay on the facts and the wider issues at stake.
@offthem00n I don’t want to discourage people from replaying X/Y, but the Scarlet/Violet Southern Kalos DLC should suffice as a direct prologue to A-Z.
So if you’ve *never* played X/Y, don’t worry that you’ll be missing out on essential story details.
@ThePsychicSaw@PicturesFoIder I’d say it’s true to the source material, but that’s not a compliment. You can only do so much when the books are much the same.
@Switch2Stock Absolute bullshit. There’s no way Nintendo will launch the Switch 2 on a Tuesday.
It will be released on Friday June 6th.
Why? The Switch released worldwide on a Friday.
But prior to that hardware always launched on Fridays in Europe, Saturdays in Japan & Sundays in the US.

Wow. This is actually groundbreaking!
The Switch is the first cartridge based Nintendo system in which game saves are stored on the console, rather than the cartridge itself. So I can’t simply stick my Switch game into a friend’s Switch & pick up where I left off.
