If you are opposed to a crime you do not become a criminal to solve the problem.
The @HomeAffairsSA and @SAPoliceService are the relevant bodies that deal with checks, arrests and deportations.
These men are criminals @PresidencyZA this cannot be allowed to go on.
This is misleading. It makes it sound as if there's a new pronouncement and is leading to confusion amongst our compatriots. The dep. Minister only reiterated what was said in 2021. ZEP holders need to move to other mainstream visas.
Deputy Home Affairs Minister Njabulo Nzuza says foreign nationals who hold Zimbabwean Exemption Permits who seek to stay in the country can apply for permanent residency because the ZEP was a temporary arrangement.

Zimbabwean foreigners go around following SAPS vehicles that transport illegal foreigners who have been arrested, the couple can be seen opening a police vehicle reg: BVM 229 B and setting free an illegal foreigner.
Allegations are surfacing again that police officers at several Gauteng police stations โ including Hillbrow and Johannesburg Central โ are arresting foreign nationals on a large scale, both documented and undocumented, only to release them shortly afterwards in exchange for cash.
Payments of between R500 and R5 000 are reportedly being demanded.
This is nothing less than extortion. It means police officers are allegedly running an illegal cash-for-freedom racket from inside police stations.
This must stop!
Urgent intervention is required from:
ย ย ย โขย ย ย SAPS management
ย ย ย โขย ย ย The National Commissioner
ย ย ย โขย ย ย IPID

โขHome Affairs.
There must be immediate investigations, lifestyle audits, undercover integrity tests, and criminal prosecutions.
Corruption inside the police is one of the biggest enablers of crime in South Africa.
If we do not clean out the rot, every serious crime-fighting strategy will fail.
Those who pay bribes also need to be arrested and charged.

Before any sensationalism, this is Broncleer which is an over the counter cough syrup used as a drug in the streets in Zimbabwe. Just to dispel the notion these are taken from public hospitals. It's still illegal to hold large quantities without a pharmaceutical license.

@Solphendukaa As recently as around 2011 many STEM teachers from Zimbabwe took up such remote positions based on skills scarcity. Today they are victimised for taking Jobs from South Africans. Many are systematically delayed or frustrated from renewing SACE accreditation....
A total of 435 South African schools did not offer maths at the Grade 12 level as of 2024.
Education experts said the shortage of qualified maths teachers, especially in rural and remote areas, was one of the main reasons for schools not offering maths in Grade 12.
MIND BLOWING !!1
Outcry about migrants is legitimate. However some jobs need a proactive approach. Delivery personnel is hired almost on a daily basis. Simply get a scooter (buy or rent it) and you will actually discover SAns with an ID document are actually more preferred.
Is delivering parcels by scooter really a critical or scarce skill that South Africans cannot do?๐ค
Iโm asking this as a concerned citizen of Mzansi, because thereโs a growing narrative that South Africans are lazy or donโt know how to ride motorbikes.๐คทโโ๏ธ
What is the Immigration Advisory Board? Who sits on it, where are they drawn from, and how does the Minister of @HomeAffairsSA@Leon_Schreib manage and disclose potential conflicts of interest?
Owen Sosa, a Zimbabwean national legally residing in South Africa, has finally returned home after a tense ordeal at Moses Kotane Hospital, where he was allegedly prevented from leaving over an outstanding medical bill of R20 000.
Sosa claims the hospital became confrontational โThe hospital was rude. How can you pay R20 000 for three injections and a drip? I was even escorted to the bathroom by security,โ Sosa said. His brother later brought his passport to the hospital to facilitate his release.
He has reportedly paid R1 500 of the hospital bill and is now back home safely.
The case has sparked wider public concerns about patient treatment at Moses Kotane Hospital, with complaints ranging from reception to admission wards. Many question whether such treatment is standard practice and have raised concerns about staff behaviour towards patients.
Sosa makes a living cleaning yards and insists he acted in good faith regarding his medical obligations. This incident has renewed calls for clarity on hospital billing policies and patient rights, especially for foreign nationals legally residing in South Africa.
