Someone's father went back home last evening feeling lighter after the burden of ignorance he's been carrying was lifted off his back, hoping the embarrassing show wasn't watched by his children who would've wondered who, between him and his voters, need CDF bursary the most.
The united opposition combined with Linda Mwananchi with financial strength from Uhuru only managed to get 40 MPs against Finance Bill 2026.
Kutoa Ruto mtamtoa aje jameniπ
I have listened to some of our members of Parliament during the debate on finance Bill . Wueh... Many of them don't understand what the Bill says. Their work is to shout in public gatherings. Aah. They don't understand @_fels1@_KasKazini@C_NyaKundiH@gabrieloguda
There are a total of 10 Counties in Mt Kenya - Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Muranga, Kiambu, Nyandarua, Meru, Tharaka-Nithi, Embu, Laikipia and Nakuru. The 10 Counties have a combined total of 64 single member constituencies.
If you add the 10 County MPs (Woman Representatives), the tally stretches to 74 Mount Kenya MPs in the National Assembly, whom Rigathi Gachagua instructed (nay, ordered) not to embarrass him during the Finance Bill debate (and subsequent voting) yesterday.
The numbers are officially in. Of the 74 members of the Wamunyoro cavalry, only Gatanga, Naivasha, Manyatta, Kirinyaga, Kandara and Kigumo trembled in fear and gave their famous bully his much needed ego booster.
Six out of 74 MPs is a statistically insignificant return, incommensurate to the alarming hubris the country has been treated to in the events leading to the taking of the vote yesterday.
The weatherman predicts the numbers will continue to dry up as the El Nino season begins to check in.
In 2027, there will be weeping and gnashing of (donkey) teeth.
Does the camera knows heβs activating ulcers somewhere deep in Kenya? Why are you showing other presidents listening to the President and enjoying the talk?
Watavunja matelevisheni wakiona hii (insert Atwoli voice)

Mr President, thank you for making Kenya a recognized and RESPECTED nation on the global stage.
This picture should be a stark reminder to all of us who came from nothing that it is possible to touch the heavens.
That no matter what, we will pursue our dreams with zeal and conviction. With tenacity and agility.
We will face all the difficult odds head-on and that one day we too will feast with kings, not as subjects but as equals.
All is possible.
