At my full time job someone asked me if I teach dance as a "volunteer" or if I actually get paid and like the money I make from dance isn't very much and I obviously do it for other reasons but hello it's still a job

Some people seem to be really disturbed by having debt but I'm just like what are they gonna do? You pay every month and just keep living? To me it's kind of like being aware of your own mortality. Yeah sure it's always there hanging over your head but like you gotta live.

I understand why leftists, Democrats, moderates, and conservatives all think the way they do.

But I will NEVER understand how anyone would be ok with getting rid of checks and balances.

@Mariethemouse I understand the sentiment but the idea of leaving them to die seems worse. Like I have those thoughts too "I should just leave" but then I feel like I'd be leaving behind everyone I love to suffer

And I personally don't mind paper but I did think about how easy it would be for someone to look over my shoulder as Im standing in line with my paper, makes it difficult to be discreet!!

Also everyone keeps saying "your vote is private, they can't see who you're voting for" well at my polling location we have paper ballots and you have to carry them across the room after filling them out and you can very much see who people voted for. Just saying!

A woman only voting for the first time at 81 is not a happy story. It’s a story about voter suppression and an American who wasn’t allowed to vote for 63 years because of voter suppression within her home. This is why we need to make sure all women around us feel safe voting.
