I legit think Mastantuono sucks as*
Every match he’s been horrendous so far…..
Let’s see if he can change my opinion this match. So far nope, absolutely awful
@kiande2015@Tecked360 The margins were small. Both managed to eventually get equal submission attempts and transitions. Bryce was the initiator to level change, I think that’s what mostly made him look more in control. Looking at pure offensive grappling it was extremely close.
@kiande2015@Tecked360 Meant he did nothing impressive compared to Said. Obviously both showed elite grappling but Bryce didn’t do anything that endangered Said.
Said won on the feet, on the ground it was a chess match on which both continuously neutralised one another’s positions.
@Tecked360@kiande2015 Did nothing impressive. Said reversed multiple positions as well. Overall Said was the better fighter. On the ground Bryce got neutralised on every attempt. Bryce won on ground control time. A tired Said on the ground neutralised anything Bryce tried.
@IsoHimYo @golmondtyre4 @ChickenManMoney Said stopped all his attempts looking for a submission. Said did more on the feet, got a knock down and on the ground he neutralised anything Bryce tried.
Said overall had the better fight. Bryce had the control time on the ground.
@MMAJOEYC Worst win this event. All stats favoured Said except for takedowns. Bryce just ducked the fight and was just grinding for take down and ground control.
@golmondtyre4 @ChickenManMoney Imagine winning a fight with stats like this.
Said has the advantage in all stats except take downs. All Bryce did was grinding for a takedown and then once on the ground he just waisted time.
I think Xabi knows he can’t play both of them. But he doesn’t want to implode the squad by letting one of them out.
It’s a tough ordeal to be in.
Looking at the uprise of PSG after the exit of a certain player, one could make a safe assumption of who’s causing the most pain.
I would give Rüdiger the benefit of the doubt. I believe a pairing with Huijsen could provide a mix of power and control in the back.
Let’s not forget, our centerback line-up has never been consistent due to endless injuries . Which actually goes for the entire defense.
@RMadridInfo That’s called focus. PSG players are very focussed, they know the ways to press on the right time, but also mastered the ability to control the risk when leaving spaces. You can only achieve that by having a collectively hard working squad driven by an objective to win.
Like last season, we should not expect anything more than just “competing”.
Team stability has to be restored first, and this process will shake up a lot of controversy.
Xabi has to take risks, but those risks will cause trouble in the dressing room.
I believe asencio should not be part of the 1st team. Rüdiger still has the experience and I believe he still can add value.
Asencio was a gamble out of necessity from the beginning. Impressive at first, but in the longterm exposed his shortcomings and lack of stability.
Like is said last season, synergie needs to be fixed. I believe this will come with a huge sacrifice, getting rid of either our #7 or #9.
They are to similar, putting off the balance. Both of them feel no responsibility of tracking back, mainly focussed on individual objectives
@RMadridInfo Players seem agitated and appear clueless on the ball. They can’t seem to handle pressure and in small spaces we lose the ball far too easy.
The synergie is totally lost. Players can’t read each others actions and make complicated choices on the ball.
We are more or less starting off in the same way we did last season.
As I said before, I don’t believe we had a managerial issue. I think the problem remains in balance and attitude. A shift caused by decisions of the club, not the manager.
Our defence was abysmal last night. There was no moment in the game where it felt we had absolute control.
Tells you something about the balance in the team. Something caused this shift in lower intensity and defensive quality.
I used to be very critical of Mbappe coming to Madrid. First it was cause he snubbed us when we actually were in need of enforcement.
Later it was cause I felt the team had no need for a big name since the team was good enough and were improving.
Timing is key.
People still under the impression that big names make a great team.
I think many others with me said it, Mbappe was brought in when there was no need.
The Galactico approach of buying big without need has failed more times then not.
Our best years was when we stopped doing this
