Really happy for our new publication in @EndoCancer describing an interplay between breast tumor cells and cancer-associated adipocytes. Fantastic work from the team, the first author Dimitris Argyris and our long-time collaborator @PanagiotaFilip3!
Excited that our manuscript on the fine structure of thymic epithelial cells has been published in @jlb_journal -- Fantastic editors and review process.

Really excited to upload our preprint on novel roles of CXCL12/CXCR4 in breast cancer metastasis and immunosuppression. I would want so desperately to say "this is the end", but probably it's better to say: "this is the beginning", as we will soon embark on the quest to publish.
Last time I practiced archery was 10 years ago as a graduate student. It was about time for a strong come-back! Not bad although not in such good shape. Let's hope our academic goals will also bring about a similar result!
What a funny way to start the Henry Kunkel annual meeting dedicated this year on thymus biology! It seems that the thymus is a kind of neglected organ by both scientists and non-scientists alike!

Honored to become a Rally Foundation Researcher! We have been awarded a grant to study thymus regeneration in pediatric cancer models, part of $5 million in research grants distributed by Rally and its Collaborative Partners this year: https://t.co/n1dFSw76QQ #RallyOn#GOLDSTRONG
Happy to upload our first Preprint from our lab (and hopefully one of many in the future) regarding morphometric assessment of the murine thymus using digital pathology tools and advanced imaging! Soon to engage in the long-process of publishing this! https://t.co/RB63YNPh6p
How do you calm yourself down when you nurture your research idea, believe strongly in it, support it with rigorous literature, identify clinical collaborators to give perspective to it, and a reviewer rejects your application simply saying: "I don't see clinical relevance"?
Very honored to be one of the four recipients of this year's prestigious @AmThyroidAssn grant awards. Congratulations to all the other awardees too! https://t.co/TRs9rPZ96u
Excited to be invited as guest editor for a special article collection exploring tumor-associated macrophages in the tumor microenvironment @FrontImmunol, with fellow guest editor @dentenberg. We are encouraging submissions.

Excited to share our review article in Cytokines and Growth Factor Reviews, about emerging roles of CXCL12 in cancer metastasis. Kudos to members of the Karagiannis lab and fantastic collaborators, @CamilleLDuran & @PanagiotaFilip3 that made this happen!
