@MaKaylaKirby515@MaddernBryan @SarahCeja03 @doctor2pi Hello MaKayla,
I have not heard of GeoGebra before, but it sounds like a great resource. Having a graphing calculator online is very convenient as well as a great visual resource like you have mentioned.
@SabrinaMac1601@MaddernBryan@Ststansberry @SarahCeja03 @doctor2pi Hello Sabrina,
I am also not a big fan of math and have not heard of cool math games before. The game sounds like it is educational, while also fun and interactive.
A4) The technological tool that could have been incorporated into projects to enhance my experience is Google Docs. This tool offers multiple free features such as real-time collaboration, auto-saving, and you can work from anywhere.#CSUBTed#CSUBTED4200@MaddernBryan
@gl1z89 @Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB@DrEddiesClass Hello Lizette,
Lexia sounds like a great resource for ELL students. Being able to work at your own pace and in a comfortable environment like home sounds like a great opportunity for students to learn.
@micazares4@Ststansberry@joceperezCSUB Hello Mireya,
Video games sound like a great idea to help ELL students. I have not heard of the app Starfall, but it sounds like it does a great job of teaching the English language.
A3) Smartphones and tablets are forms of technology that help ELL students strengthen their comprehension of the English language. Apps such as Duolingo allow learners to interact and have fun while learning a language for free. #CSUBTed#CSUBEDTE4200@MaddernBryan
@AndresCSUB@tom_karnes@CsubMadelyns@DrEddiesClass Hello Andres,
As students I think that we all have seen or heard of this issue occurring before. Students, especially young ones, cannot control their Wifi. This makes it important for teachers to be prepared for these type of situations when they arise
@Rpatts4 Hello Robin,
I can only imagine how stressful that situation could have been. Trying to keep the children engaged in person is hard enough, so the teacher's computer crashing must have made that task impossible.
I recently experienced being deterred from learning. It happened in a Zoom meeting for class and the power went out leaving me unable to stay in the meeting. Once my power came back on I was already too upset about the issue to rejoin. #CSUBTed#CSUBEDTE4200@MaddernBryan
@KarlaGo52769625@doctor2pi@MaddernBryan Hello Karla,
I have also used Canva as well to design flyers and agree that it is a great resource! It is easy to use and has a wide variety of patterns and colors to choose from.
@ProfOgonzo Hello Omar,
That is a great idea! I believe that using Google Sites is a great resource for teachers. It will allow students to access the syllabus when needed.
The technology resource I have discovered that is innovative in the classroom is ClassDojo. This app allows me to effectively communicate with parents as well as track student's behaviors. It also allows me to show parents their child's progression throughout the year. #CSUBTed
