The format and the way that learning the story is a big part of the game, means it's one of the most satisfyingly complex stories I've seen in a game. Hopefully there'll be hundreds of imitators as I can't wait to play them
Absolutely loved Case of the Golden Idol! Like Obra Dinn but the chapter format means there's a lot less guess work and much more delightful surprises in what you end up doing as it continues (sorry vague as you really need to experience twists yourself).
Been enjoying the recently launched podcast @myperfectcnsle by @SimonParkin. Desert Island discs for games is such a great format idea I'm surprised nobody has done it before. So far guests have all been fantastic, and very open. Really recommend it.
@CrushingComics I think it was reprinted in an annual in the UK. It's a great self contained story with the 3 X leaders having to work together in dire circumstances. X-Men unlimited just went downhill from here.
And for all my midlands peeps, apparently it was filmed in Birmingham, Dudley and Cannock Chase. The uk west midlands... perfect for all your post apocalyptic filming needs.
If you want another fungoid based zombie apocalypse that can only be saved by a young girl story, I can definitely recommend the film Girl With All The Gifts (currently on Netflix)
