I've documented the format as much as possible and done rudimentary testing. I'm currently building a test harness in @godotengine to work through some difficult edge cases.
It's a rabbit hole but it will ensure the first release of this system will be the highest quality.

@LivingWorldsArt I'm still working on it but progress is slow at the moment. I'm building a test harness to help debug the format before I share it and related assets. It's a lot more work than expected; feels like I'm doing 500% more work to get through the last 10%. Passion is still high.

I've been struggling for > a week to make an algorithm taking a k-combination that returns its index in a 1-based enumeration of k-combinations. Today I finally cracked it (am so relieved).
I weep that I couldn't google the solution, and I can't read maths very enough anymore. 🥺
@GergelyOrosz In my experience the rule is "times 3, add 1".
Also planners don't like to see realistic estimates, they prefer you to underestimate so they can whine when "engineers take too long".
Finally when you realistic estimates they tend to cancel the job because it will take too long.
