أعلنت وكالة الفضاء الأمريكية (ناسا) عن إدراج طبق الكسكس المغربي ضمن قائمة الوجبات المخصصة لرواد فضاء مهمة "أرتميس 2"، المتوجهة في رحلة استكشافية حول القمر.

ويعكس اختيار هذا الطبق المغربي، انفتاح المهمات ال��ضائية الحديثة على الثقافات العالمية، حيث تهدف "ناسا" من خلال إدراج أطباق وطنية إلى تقديم دعم نفسي للأطقم وتلبية الاحتياجات البيولوجية المتنوعة لرواد الفضاء خلال الرحلات طويلة المدى.

وقد تم تكييف الكسكس بشكل خاص ليلبي المتطلبات الغذائية الصارمة ومعايير الحفظ في بيئة انعدام الجاذبية، مع الحفاظ على أصالته الكاملة.
