I feel that govt is confused between काला धन and LATE FEES. U had promised to recover काला धन from outside countries which is kept by many ministers and not from innocent and poor ppl.

If there is a single error in 26AS.
The process of revision of TDS is so tedious that generally it takes 10 days to reflect in 26AS.

26AS themselves get updated till 15 June only.

This date of 31st July for ITR's is just Impractical.
