Most people in crypto have never heard the term TRL. Most people in defence procurement, aerospace and industrial infrastructure live by it.

TRL stands for Technology Readiness Level. It is a 1 to 9 scale developed by NASA in the 1970s, adopted by the EU, the US Department of Defense, and every serious hardware buyer on the planet.

Last month, @Minima_Global hit TRL6 on a piece of crypto infrastructure. That should have been a much bigger story than it was.

Minima has recently surpassed its initial funding target by £120k.

For me, that signals growing conviction in what they’re building.

Most AI and compliance infrastructure today assumes constant connectivity and cloud reliance.

But a lot of the real world doesn’t work like that.

Drones, industrial systems, medical devices all operate at the edge, often offline, and those are exactly the systems that will face the strictest regulation.

What I find interesting about @Minima_Global :

• runs a full blockchain node directly on the device, even in constrained environments

• designed for edge systems, not cloud first assumptions

• aligns well with where regulation is heading, especially in Europe

What gives me more confidence:

• collaboration with Arm Holdings at the chip level

• distribution pathways through Siemens

• validation from University of Southampton in live drone flights with strong performance gains

Most crypto "partnerships" are logos on a landing page.

This is a live flight test. ARM supplied the chip. Siemens supplied the industrial backing. The University of Southampton ran the demonstration. And the drone recorded every autonomous decision to a tamper-proof ledger while airborne.

This is what TRL6 looks like, and almost nobody in crypto has ever shipped anything at that readiness level.

The gap between what @Minima_Global has actually built and what the market is currently pricing is the reason I keep posting about them.
