Director of Media and Advocacy, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA)@ndlea_nigeria , Mr Femi Babafemi @FemiBabafemi , hosts our Chief Impact Officer, @ifebamidele and Deputy Chief Impact Officer, Sir Olabode Olanusi @olabode_olanusi , at the NDLEA Headquarters, Abuja as part of the commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which also marked the first anniversary of the Project.

The Drug Free Health Substance Abuse Prevention Support Initiative, (Drug Free Project) commmended and appreciated the Chairman/CEO of the NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa, (Rtd) CON, OFR for leading the charge in the War Against Drug Abuse with daily arrests and sensitization promoting both Drug Supply Reduction and Drug Demand Reduction.

The duo specially thanked Mr Femi Babafemi for speaking at the first Volunteer Meeting of the Drug Free Project and being a mentor in prevention advocacy.

The Director, presented a copy of the NDLEA today magazine, WADA badge and other materials commending and encouraging volunteers of the Drug Free Project. He also charged them to continue advocating against substance abuse across the country, in educational institutions, workplaces, communities, across all ages and social strata.

How Low quality problems affects your life.

I spent the day at a conference and I had already organized myself to work 5hrs this night before I retire.

Now I’m at the gym pumping it out, clearing my head, arranging my to do lists. Then I saw that the Grid has collapsed. My brain switched from productive thinking to survival.

My Gen comes on for four hours so we stay within budget so that inflation won’t kill us. If you increase diesel budget to maintain the 9hrs use, my other line items suffer. Personally, I will pick good food over diesel because, I need to survive.

So from productive to do list to ensuring all the water storage is full, all the food for the next 48hrs is prepped and ready, iron 3 days worth of clothes coz light is epileptic, then mentally prepare not to watch tv coz inverter has to last longer.

By the time it’s 1am, I am wiped out and nothing productive was done, just survival.

And one foolish person said, What do you need 24hrs light for?
