@ABridgen Makes sense why people have allergies or intolerance or auto immune issues towards food that round up has been used. The body recognises it and attacks it. But we are told that the body is accidents attacking its own tissue
@kingkapoor72@metpoliceuk I am quite sure you can only carry a dagger (part of 5k’s) if you are baptised Sikh, which you are not. So arresting you for having a knife is standard process by the law
@spanishblueye@premnsikka I don’t think you have grasped what they are talking about. First look up corporation tax then look up dividends and then add it together. The uber rich habe other mechanisms in place but the small companies will be hit the hardest. Why start anything carrying all risk no reward?
@Andy3055948@premnsikka So your friend takes on all the risk running a business and should be taxed the same as an employee? Btw your friend oays between 19-25% corporations tax prior to taking any dividends, is that fair or unfair? Thanks
@DanNeidle@MichelleMone She calls out poorly something has been managed and how they are being protected, she is cut from the same cloth and just speaking out because they have become scape goats, otherwise all good right? Cover up and we won’t be caught.
@TRobinsonNewEra You do the same as the media that you claim is harming society. Ofcourse people who now have their own country from Britain are proud to celebrate that fact. Will you cover the Indian one today? If not, are you any different to the other media outlets who control the narrative
Thank you to @SarahEGabbai & @keithmgordon for ongoing efforts to resolve #LoanChargeScandal, including recent meeting, along with LCAG, with Minister.
Thanks also to @jamesmurray_ldn whose engagement welcome change from last Government.

🚨 #LoanCharge Thread for @carolvorders & others 🚨
Meet Mel Stride the "Honourable" Tory MP with a controversial history in the #LoanChargeScandal. 🧐
1/ Stride was the Financial Secretary to the Treasury from 2017-2019. He rushed the Loan Charge through parliament...
Victims of #LoanChargeScandal will take heart from straightforward response by new Treasury minister @jamesmurray_ldn, whilst awaiting outcome of deliberations.
Thank you to @blairmcdougall for raising important question which affects lives of thousands.
"Are HMRC going to make me and my family homeless? I AM SICK AND FRANTIC WITH WORRY - which has taken a toll on my health. I have no idea how I can pay the loan charge..I feel ashamed, frantic and petrified about all this... #LoanCharge#LoanChargeScandal#LoanChargeSuicides
This is what happens when Mel Stride is a “leader” - he pushed the #loancharge through Parliament without scrutiny and 10 people have committed suicide, and tens of thousands of others are still suffering. The Loan Charge Scandal is the next Post Office scandal - Labour promised a review @jamesmurray_ldn - where is it?
The Government's approach to the loan charge means ordinary people who are victims of mis-selling are facing huge bills, distress, and personal harm.
A new approach is urgently needed. Today we voted for a truly independent review to finally find a way forward.
A powerful reminder of why the next Government MUST resolve the #LoanChargeScandal before more people see no way out & take their own lives from a disastrous, unfair & failed Treasury/HMRC policy ⬇️
The #LoanCharge must be a #GeneralElection issue.
Challenge candidates on it.
The new Government MUST resolve the #LoanChargeScandal before more lives are lost. 10 tragic suicides have already been linked with #loancharge. If any newly elected MPs want to find out more please read this piece from @yorkshirepost :
