While we have fresher air to start the week the weather models show the air mass over much of Western Europe will go from below average to back above average pretty quickly. Heat is likely to start building back in by the weekend and into early next week. How hot it will get is unclear yet but we could see mid to high twenties in Ireland again. Spain and Portugal over 40c is possible in parts again this week.

Gardaí are seeking help in tracing 17-year-old Elise Mulumba and 15-year-old Aaliah Mulumba who are both missing from the Tralee area of Kerry since yesterday.
Elise and Aaliah are believed to be with one another in Dublin.
