the saddest lie people believe is that there is an age where life is basically over. like there’s some invisible deadline for becoming successful, confident, loved, healthy, fulfilled.
so they slowly give up on themselves. they stop trying new things. stop believing they can change. they begin living like their future has already been decided. but life is strange. people hit rock bottom at 40 and rebuild themselves at 41. people spend years lost and suddenly discover purpose in a random season of their life. some people bloom early.
some bloom after pain breaks them open.
there is no universal timeline for becoming who you are meant to be. you are not “too old.” you are carrying experiences, failures, heartbreak and lessons that teach you what truly matters in life. people underestimate what happens when someone keeps believing in their future for years without immediate results. because while everyone else slowly becomes cynical, they stay alive inside.
you can change your body. change your mindset. change your career. change your entire life direction. as long as your heart still beats, the story is not finished.
People often ask me: have you met ‘good’ people in politics? Yes, I have. Quite a few. One of them passed away yesterday. Former Ukhand CM Gen BC Khanduri was a politician who was committed to probity and public service. His work as surface transport minister in the Vajpayee led govt paved the way for a ‘road revolution’. Guess he was too honest in the end for the coarsened times in which we live. RIP. Om Shanti.
@NBaidmehta I think this time Modi Ji should attempt some big, fundamental reforms, not incremental ones. After all, they’ve been in power for more than a decade now, yet the scale of reforms is nowhere close to what was promised after winning the 2014 election.
@UJJAVALSHAH2 Sir, what about I-PAC company's case in this election? It is a clear loser. It managed operations for both Bengal and Tamil Nadu elections for DMK and Trinamool, and Prashant made the strategy for TVK. What happened ?
@DrAMSinghvi People forget he was right in the MP and CG elections too. Especially in the MP election, his seat projection shook the world he was dead right.
