@Headteacherchat Schools can entice and hold staff even without being able to routinely offer ‘wfm’. The obvious solution to that is better pay and other benefits. But there is no money to do that. And here lies the rub.
@Headteacherchat Possibly. Is this an agreement across the school which support staff can also benefit from? Is it timetable dependent and therefore the equivalent of hitting a lucky streak at the casino? My assumption is that the subtext to this post is should teachers have flexible working?
@Headteacherchat I would LOVE that. But nothing I have seen anywhere (including exemplars) has convinced me that it can be more than the luck of the draw currently. Public facing sectors cannot have the same flexibility as others. Cos we’re teaching! So the powers that be need to consider how
