There is a war ongoing in Ukraine. Thousands of civilians, many of them children, have been killed in Gaza over the last three years. There is ongoing conflict in the Middle East, affecting millions of people. There are wars in parts of Africa and conflicts all over the world.

There are also ongoing protests in my Albania against the regime.

However, all the war criminals and politicians combined have not received as much hate as #Lionel Messi has received alone.

You would think he was killing children in Gaza, killing civilians in Sudan, or bombing girls' schools in Iran.

But no. His only "mistake" is winning and beating his opponents with a football, and somehow he is carrying on his shoulders all the sins of the planet.
