@WhiteHotRoom_HQ The only “canon” is that the X-Men were all high school graduates when they started.
As of the 90s Age of Apocalypse arc the X-Men stated to have been active 10 years.
Then as of 2019 again they were stated to be active for 10 years.
@taurvinn16561@nobodysbxsiness Respectfully a school isn’t going to believably be run a 20 something.
A 30 something person absolutely.
It all sounds ageist again.
A person in their 20s lacks the maturity that someone in their 30s possesses.
@thoscarletwitch@Tha_Linksta@oofouchoww Only in one limited comic series in the 2000s when editors gave zero sh*t$ about X-Men continuity was this shown. She was a CEO and mentor to students in her first appearance 47 years ago whilst the X-men were just in the their 20s.
@ethxhope She was a mentor/ headmistress in her introduction as a villain trying to kidnap a 13 year old Kitty Pryde.
A later retcon in the 2000s aged her down
@mvrtxin She has always been older than the X-Men since her intro as the headmistress of her own students- a counterpart to Xavier. It was decades later when she joined the team that ageist writers said she was their age. I LOVE Emma Frost PS and her characterization
@saddybadge@kcrivndr People forget she was retconned in the Morrison era. She is NOT the same age as them. She was headmistress of her own students when the X-Men were in their earliest years
