$$$ is a BIG challenge! Support for rare disease research in the academic environment is hard to come by. BEAT-Calci is designed to be capable of evaluating question's from academic & commercial partners. Research collaborations are needed. #Nephtrials

Adaptive Sample Size Reestimation: Allows the study to drop treatment arms early, based on accumulating data through prespecified decision rules - for e.g. success or futility. Focusing resources where its needed! #NephTrials

@hswapnil @manasib33 @remap_cap ... & a Platform trial is a type of multi-arm study that allows for arms to be removed once sufficiently assessed, or added to the trial where new information warrants their inclusion. Some studies like BEAT-Calci are adaptive & a platform! #NephTrials
