Memphis Depay is a menace in the Brazilian league, just at what he’s been doing to the Brazilian players, making them look like a joke.
Proper shithousery🤣❤️
Thierry and Zlatan saying they wouldn't have become soccer players because of the costs of the American youth system, then seeing Lalas say it's a great system because it makes a lot of money for some people really sums it all up nicely
As someone who has followed soccer and FIFA for a very long time, trust me when I say, like all sports/entertainment. Results, not always, but are rigged. I never have seen this in full display more than the last two world cups however. To any neutral, can you see through the bs?
I do think this man definitely still holds legend status, I'm not that naive. But anyone that knows me knows I prefer Ronaldo over Messi. I imagine there would be a clip somewhat similar you could crop of Cristiano, both having played for ~20 years. That said, what a bitch lol.
I've thought about sports gambling several times and haven't. I told multiple people Japan is gonna beat Brazil. If they do, that might just be impetus I need to just do it already. Cause I already know there could've been some money made there. 👀
I played soccer my entire life, since I could walk I had a soccer ball at my feet
I know this is technically offside, but real ball knowers know it isn’t.
It just isn’t.
But this is not a new thing that these decisions have been changing games. It’s been happening for years
VAR is necessary but it is also so incredibly flawed.
🚨 Davinson Sánchez on the VAR image that ruled out his last-minute goal against Portugal in the 2026 FIFA World Cup:
🗣️ “You’re telling me my World Cup goal was taken away because of that?”
“I’ve looked at the image, and I still can’t believe it.”
“I celebrated with my teammates, I celebrated with our supporters, because we thought we’d won the game fairly.”
“Then VAR shows one picture, draws a line, and suddenly my first World Cup goal disappears.”
“I honestly don’t know what they saw.”
“If you have to search for millimetres just to cancel a goal, then maybe something is wrong with the system.”
“That wasn’t just my goal. That was a moment for every Colombian watching around the world.”
“You don’t just erase a celebration like that.”
“I’ll always respect the officials, but this one is incredibly difficult to accept.”
“No image they show me will change how I feel tonight.”
“I believe that goal should have stood, and I’ll always feel we were denied a special World Cup moment.”
As an Arsenal fan, my personal take is this Gyökeres for Alvarez swap is nonsense. I don't think Arteta gets rid of Gyökeres after that first season period. But secondly, if it is true, that is a terrible decision. Arsenal fans backing that have to be legitimately stupid.
Kansas City changed the name of Paseo to Martin Luther King Blvd awhile back before reverting or whatever, what do I gotta do for independence to change their road names!?
Whoever named the streets was on drugs for real. How can it be north and east? Just tryna to confuse people and my GPS always seems to go to the wrong one.
As an Arsenal fan this is crazy. I love Saka and he had an impactful season but an average season. With Raya Rice Gabriel and Salibas season surely this is just PR. Again I love Saka but aint no way this season. But this award lost credibility with Messi having more than Ronaldo.
The FA really needs to consider moving Crystal Palace v Arsenal to Saturday. Arsenal already wrapped up the Premier League title, Palace are safe in mid-table, and both have massive European finals next week (Conference League for Palace, UCL for Arsenal). Zero competitive stakes on Sunday-give them the extra 24 hours recovery.
