@Emerson2992@LarsenPort1 Indiana being bad (at the time) was public knowledge. To make that argument is to say he had no additional knowledge of game/teams etc than you or I, which is obviously not the case.
I like how nobodys talking about the fact that sending a “sports gambling addict” out on to a football field to play QB is like taking an alcoholic to an open bar at a demolition derby and handing him a helmet and keys.
The Sorsby ruling is truly disastrous. It will be appealed, of course, because one of the fundamental parts of watching a sporting event is believing that it’s as fair a competition as possible — and that no one directly involved has money riding on specific outcomes.
NEWS: A judge in district court in Lubbock County, Texas, has granted the injunction requested by Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby. He’s set to be eligible for the 2026 season.
TBH I don’t really feel any sort of way about Texas Tech. They’re just gaming the system, it’s the same system for everyone. If my team had FU money Id be wanting us to do Fck-You-Stuff, also.
I do hate Texas. F Texas forever 👇👇
-Many people hate LSU
-Many people hate Alabama
-Many people hate Texas
-Many people hate Ohio State
-Many people hate Michigan
But EVERYONE fucking hates Texas Tech
Why would any of these kids appeal now for more eligibility? Just…keep showing up, year after year. The NCAA clearly can’t keep you off the field. Someone get Pavia a helmet!!!
COLUMN: Texas Tech's Brendan Sorsby ruling should be the tipping point.
If this rule can't be enforced, how can any rule be? The solution: collective bargaining.
