@ULTIMa_Ivanov I’m not planning on buying it unless they give me proper incentive to spend another chunk of cash. Right now, with no crossplay, it fractures an already small player base. Not to mention there’s no new game modes, like Tag Team being added. I just don’t see the value…

@GamersNexus The sad part is, most gamers will be excited to welcome this feature. Can you imagine how awful it will look in action sequences? DLSS already is a nightmare of visual artifacts when there’s rapid objects on screen. This will make it look like a scene from “A Scanner Darkly.”

Even with crossplay, DOA6LR is splitting the existing players by not being compatible to DOA6.

IMO, Team NINJA would have been much better off making LR a DLC for DOA6, incorporating crossplay and adding tag modes…

I love DOA, but DOA6LR is offering nothing of value. Actually, I'd be losing 2 characters.

No option to upgrade from existing copies of DOA6, means that current DOA6 players won't be able to play with DOA6LR players, either.

It's just another DLC machine. Good luck, Team NINJA!

These are some of the comments made on Reddit about DOA6LR right now...
I want the game to do well.
But you have to make the product attractive just like DOA characters...
Thats just the world we live in.
Making videos saying "buy it to support it" isn't good enough these days.
Many are in difficult economic times and want their money to be well spent.
The team needs to seriously consider this...

@idlemo_bun @FirstDescendant I agree they should’ve handled things better in the past, but I also feel like this Gley adjustment is a sign that they are willing to apply nerfs more decisively now that they have learned what happens when you don’t. Also, the Gley adjustments aren’t even all bad.

@DanielOlimac My take as a passionate fan of DOA/NG games: I couldn’t have been less interested in buying NG4 after seeing its abysmal storyline and utter neglect of established series canon, despite its tolerable gameplay elements. I’m not surprised it didn’t sell well.

@Director_Bison Classic NG (NES to Master System) is the lore NG needs to embrace, and that is the version of Ryu this franchise needs most.

Sadly, I feel as if most fans have lost sight of how valuable it is to embrace a flawed main character, instead blindly praising him as a demigod.

@FirstDescendant My wish for 2026 and beyond is more exploration-based content with lore and cosmetic rewards. I’d also love to see NPC factions introduced with exclusive affinity rewards. Also, an auction house or storefront mechanic for module trading! Love the game so far! Keep it up!

@Everard67154825 @FirstDescendant Dia's injuries were likely far worse than you realize. Consider the amount of soft tissue and organ damage was sustained when the Vulgus cells were expelled. It's a miracle she even survived. Additionally, there's a mental factor, too: The coma could be a result of psyche damage.

@FirstDescendant The material drop-rate is fine, but the new VV mission needs to have more variety to keep the farm fresh.

More exploration, procedurally generated tile sets, randomized environmental hazards like power outages or toxic gas leaks...

I prefer long grinds, but we need variation.

@FirstDescendant The selection of finalists was really underwhelming, imo. Congrats to the artists who made it, but I would’ve liked to see more variety to choose from…
