Maybe things have changed (I don't think they have). If you went on the mat with something taped up, the other guys was going after it. Within the rules, whistle to whistle, you are fair game. No one feels sorry for you. This sport is primal. It's a survival of the fittest from start to finish. You get tired? Too bad. You aren't 100%? too bad. If you are the slowest wildebeest because you tweaked your knee, you are dinner.

Hopefully this helps some understand the mentality and the mindset of the college wrestler. The sportsmanship is the love and respect for the fight, not to take it easy on your opponent.

@swaind120 Done by the greatest running back college football has ever seen. Barry sanders at OKSU was insane. Tell me this, if Deion played both ways in college, are you not giving the heisman to BARRY SANDERS instead that year? That’s who won it in Primes candidate year

@bniles408 I am questionable on the position as well. I wouldn’t even put him above Jeremiah smith or Ryan Williams for the best receiver in college football. More of a personal take but if your not the best player for your position, can’t see how your the best player in football completely
