Our “promised land” is simply a place (an established system) where participants/citizens utilize authentically loving behaviors to realize their hopes and dreams. And importantly those citizens refuse to participate or reward those who rely on the use of unloving behaviors.
@ByKocktail16835 Visited Charlotte site today. Wait staff was inattentive. 20% automatic gratuity is a disincentive. Also ordered side of sweet potatoes &was brought mashed potatoes. When I reminded waiter that I ordered the sweet potatoes, he said they weren’t on menu! 😳
@saquon Champions gave political influence. Glad handing with champions can have great influence over some voters. And for that reason I’d have to pass as well. I wouldn’t allow myself to be used in that way. 3/3
@saquon Also, I’m not sold on the notion that the tradition started primarily to honor teams. That may have been the marketed reason, but the tradition most likely started for political reasons. And that’s why it grew and grew and grew. 2/3.
@CBBcontent First name “Perry” derived from prefix “peri” meaning around or “about”.
Last name Ellis, derived from Elijah, a transilliteration of “eligible”.
His name illiterally means “about eligible”
@FlagBlack007 Replies of “victim hood” are simply a tactic to never examine the history of racism and its ongoing systemic effects in today’s societies.
@AmerKaN_45@XnoconJ @Matthewtravis08 Yep they’re all confidant until they show up needing healthcare for a loved one and are denied because someone with many certifications has denied care that the doctor has deemed necessary and reasonable. I’ve seen it hundreds of times.
@philflag82@MacTexasMom@thejackhopkins One restriction is the steak has to be cooked. If one has no provisions to cook, then the steak can’t be eaten.
Another restriction is that steak isn’t defined. Is it soley beef? What did the writer intend?
Are dinners w/o steak delicious? Maybe the writer had a steak bias?
