New Litter Trap placement in the Netherlands! 🏆
In the Gent-Terneuzen Canal we have just installed one of our Litter Traps. The installation will prevent plastic pollution from reaching the Western Scheldt.🌊
In collaboration with @heijmans , @cocacola_nl and @rijkswaterstaat .

We are #delighted that we installed the first Litter Trap in #Romania !
It is located in the #Dambovita river and prevents plastics from reaching the Danube River.

#Students from Saxion University of Applied Sciences Enschede, worked #together for half a #year on exploring the options for #recycling marine litter into durable #textiles for CLEAR RIVERS. They realised 100% waste free #buttons!

Our #three litter traps in #Rotterdam are emptied regularly. We find all sorts of things: Toothbrushes, toys, balls and plastic bags.
This month we found a #Barbie car!
