Let’s try this #SteelerNation…..
-We agree that expectations haven’t been met for some time.
-Let’s agree that the Steelers needed a change.
-Let’s agree that Coach T was no longer the answer.
Simultaneously….
-Pay respect to the man for the nearly 2 decades of tireless work & sacrifices.
-Try to understand that his impact for many of his players has extended much further than football and that the love you see from everyone is not an acceptance of his recent performance but rather stems from the culmination of a life long impact he’s had on me and many many others.
-Walk. Chew bubble gum. Maybe even wave. All at the same time. I promise you it’s possible.

It truly is a failure of our society that a man worth $640 billion is allowed to spend his days broadcasting lies and conspiracy theories to incite hate to hundreds of millions of people on a platform where he controls what you see, when you see it, completely unchecked.
The level of reverence that Coach T is garnering from former players, opposing players, media members and coaching peers is pretty damn awesome to see and hear. You don’t get to that level without doing many things consistently right. I know there is a significant portion of SteelerNation that couldn’t care less about that, and that’s fine. You got your wish. But this still feels super weird to me. I understand the football aspect of things hasn’t met expectations for some time now. But the leadership part was still elite. And in the NFL, where so many relationships are strictly transactional, we as players had something long lasting and personal with a coach who wanted more for you outside of what you did for him on the field. That just doesn’t happen often in the NFL. And we had that.
Thank You @CoachTomlin. You are 1 of 1.

I just heard a Republican talking about people who supposedly "sit at home and collect Medicaid." What a strange thing to say. It's not a cash welfare program. There's nothing to collect. It's simply a way for the poor and disabled to access health care, an insurance plan.
The guy with the nuke codes is beefing with the exploding car guy he gave our secrets to because they can’t agree on how many of us should lose health insurance & how many kids should go without food, so now they’re leaking Epstein tea and threatening deportation like it’s Real Housewives: Traitors of D.C., but please, tell me again how it’s women who are too emotional to lead.
One of the greatest deceptions of our time is the false narrative that we should be more concerned about a poor person misusing the welfare system or an immigrant being here illegally than we are about cruel people having unprecedented wealth and power over all of us.
Check the date and sit with the fact this Administration is doing everything in its power to make it much, much worse for children in the system. *Worse* than this. This is the “before”.
I repeat: This. Is. The. Before.
To be pregnant or give birth in the United States is life-threatening. Highest maternal death rate of any high-income country. 80% are preventable, 2/3 occur after birth. Yet the U.S. is the ONLY country w/o mandatory paid maternal leave OR guaranteed post-partum obstetrics care.
Doubling down on Twitter about texts that are BY DEFINITION the highest level of classified because he’s barely a soldier and mostly a moron. If he’s not unemployed in the next week we are COOKED
People have such contempt for poor people and evil in their hearts that the possibility of a person who gets $300 a month buying a bag of chips with that money leads them into this rage where they declare that the person should have that small amount taken away.
