Meanwhile, Israel and Lebanon agreed to a ceasefire during talks in Washington today — but it’s dependent on Hezbollah stopping attacks and leaving the South Litani Sector. https://t.co/r5fNwk0NM3
The House vote today approving the war powers resolution still needs approval by the Senate, but ultimately is largely performative — though Sec. Rubio said today Iran thinks it means there will soon be no military threat from the US, so they don’t have to make a deal.
Developments in the Iran–US conflict are unfolding on multiple fronts.
Iran's strikes on Kuwait and Bahrain have raised fresh questions about the fate of the ceasefire and more importantly, the potential interim deal that has been on the table for weeks.
The next day or two appears critical in determining the trajectory of this conflict.
The most significant move related to Iran–US diplomacy is expected in Washington. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that a joint statement by Israel and Lebanon is likely on Wednesday.
If such a statement materializes, it would certainly improve the prospects for a MoU between Iran and the United States.
Despite the uncertainty and the recent tit-for-tat strikes between Iran and the US, both sides have refrained from characterizing the situation as the end of either the ceasefire or the broader diplomatic process.
In fact, President Trump has said that he would like to meet Iran's Supreme Leader someday, underscoring that diplomatic channels remain open despite tensions.
The Afghan Taliban have a clear choice....address Pakistan's legitimate security concerns and reap the rewards or continue backing the TTP and keep digging a deeper hole for themselves. @ahmadishtiaq

I am confident that under her leadership, Pakistan-Denmark relations will continue to grow for the mutual benefit and prosperity of our peoples.
