On October 7th, Palestinian Hamas jihadists invaded our land — murdering, burning, and kidnapping innocent men, women, and children.

Two years later, we remember October 7th — we remember the victims, we pray for the return of the hostages still held in Gaza, and we stand united against terror. Hamas must be dismantled to end this war.

My favorite lesson from Voddie Baucham was his answer to the question, "Why do you believe the Bible?"

❌ NOT "I was raised that way"
❌ NOT "I tried it and it worked for me"

His answer came from an exposition of 2 Peter 1:16-20, which he summarized this way:

✅ "I choose to believe the Bible because it is a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses. They report supernatural events that took place in fulfillment of specific prophecies and they claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin."

“Until one day, when it’s all said and done, we’re not just saved from the penalty of sin. We’re not just saved from the power of sin. But one day, we’re glorified and saved from the very presence of sin.

That’s the gospel that we preach! That’s the gospel that we need! And that’s the gospel that’s more than enough!”

Today was that day for Voddie. When he preached this, he saw by faith. Now, Voddie sees by sight—glorified with Christ forever and eternally free from the penalty, power, and presence of sin.
