@NathanJBarnes @ChatGPT Make sure the task it starts to use your computer isn't a cloud task. Cloud tasks don't get the computer use tools. I had to tell mine to stop using cloud tasks now it works

@hollllyli @maria_rcks Update: It seems my dot’s task-creation route was defaulting to Cloud, even when targeting my Mac. They could run commands on the Mac but lacked computer controls. I had to specifically tell my dot to use work in this computer mode instead of cloud and it works now.

@hollllyli @maria_rcks It seems to be related to my Dot using a cloud task instead of a local computer task, which would make sense why computer use tools aren't available when in cloud task mode.

@hollllyli @maria_rcks I've yet to run into a guardrail issue, but the freezing and getting stuck in let me look into that loop after 20-30 minutes every time is super frustrating.

Also, not being able to access my computer directly is a big problem

@thsottiaux If it could stop getting stuck in a "let me check on that" loop every 20-30 minutes and having to be rebooted, it would be great. Also, it can't use computer use directly and the only workaround I've found is to have it use a relay task that talks to a task I started first.

The base is increasing. Pro plans use an "x" factor of base usage. $200/mo pro is decreasing to 10x of base usage, but base usage is going up, so we don't really know how much usage is dropping but it's not by 50%.

Today we are going to ship a number of things that increase what you can do across the Plus and Pro plans. A lot of compute is online for this increase. As we increase the floor, we are changing the relative difference between plans to be

Plus = 1X
Pro 100 = 5X
Pro 200 = 10X

and we are reopening subscriptions for Pro 200 (we had paused it). If you have an existing plan you will keep the 20X multiplier for a bit and also receive a lot of additional credits because we know changes are hard even if it means that everyone will get more in the end.
