Both her and her husband Derrick Alexander work for @KaufmanISD helping better kids lives in the classroom and on the athletic fields.

Angela was also a stud cross country runner for Midwestern State back in the day!

Katie Tucker ran an amazing race in the 3200m at the Region 2-4A meet this morning! She placed 🥉 setting a new school record 11:18, breaking the old mark of 11:24 by Angela Dees, who is now one of Katie’s coaches. @KaufmanLions @Kaufman_High @KaufmanISD

Katie Tucker officially replaced me as the 3200m Kaufman HS record holder with a time of 11:18.63, placing 3rd @ the Regional Championships! I am so proud. I knew she was destined for great things from the very first mile I watched her run. Way to go Katie, it’s yours now! 🦁

The Varsity Boys XC team are the Region II CHAMPIONS, qualifying for the State Meet as a team! Edwin Rivera placed 3rd, earning a medal! Adan Gutierrez(21st), Yahir Flores(24th), Edward Rivera(33rd), and Pierce Drake(37th) also scored points for the lions, securing the victory.🥇
