H1 2019 drilling opens up new areas of mineralisation in key targets zones on Cobra’s Namibian Epl’s. Further work now planned to advance the deposits towards the SRK target of 180M Lb U3O8
When deciding to use your down day to do a little recce mapping to a new area brings a pleasant surprise. 2678 and 2225 ppm in outcropping alaskites!! #Uranium#Namibia#Mining@_CobraResources
Back to the beautiful blue skies of Windhoek ready for the first field campaign of 2019, Looking forward to a strong year in #uranium, #Namibia and of course for @-@_CobraResources off the back of the strong finish to 2018.
Bill Gates has written in his year-end blog that #nuclear power is "ideal for dealing with climate change". The technologist, business leader, and philanthropist wrote about nuclear power in his 29 December article 'What I learned at work this year' https://t.co/0RBY4PSIVz
What a week! @MinesAndMoney was buzzing with plenty of interest in #Uranium. Great to see @DenisonMinesCo latest feasibility study in the @AthabascaBasin which is a game changer as well as @GoviExUranium who are continuing to move forward in Africa and reduce costs.
Fresh off the back of a very successful field campaign and launching of the cobra website https://t.co/QPtBY0fhjS, we will be present in London this week for @MinesAndMoney discussing investment opportunities in Africa and Uranium.
The end of an incredible 3 weeks mapping saw the return of some outstanding results including 686ppm & 544ppm #Uranium and amazingly on the same site 1.7 & 1.3 g/t #gold! Taken from grab samples at surface. Drill targets identified and time to progress. Loving #Namibia!!
Over the weekend Friday's result was topped by the Cobra field team who were able to locate a new area of interest within the tenement boundaries with results topping 400ppm #Uranium at surface. #Namibia
Having spent some time orientating ourselves and learning the geology in the Rossing Area, the first day has yielded some positive results from surface mapping. Looking forward to the coming days. #uranium#namibia#exploration
While our primary focus is not Copper-Gold it was interesting to find historical core on site displaying copper mineralisation. There are several historical mines in the region for copper and base metals whose geology is seen on our site. 🤔
A good report from the UN on the need to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels within the wider supply chain of energy and how a better planned strategy involving nuclear fuel could well be part of the answer.
Back to site and a reconnaissance day leads to some spectacular views and some interesting finds prospecting away from our core focus of #Uranium. #Copper, #Graphite, #Lead, #Zinc, #Silver all visible on the ~700km2 package.
Some activity happening with our southern neighbours. @RioTinto in talks to sell their 69% stake in the #Rossing#Uranium Mine, #Namibia with China National Nuclear Corporation #CNNC. https://t.co/EBsLV9xFU9
Geraldine Thomas, professor of molecular pathology at Imperial College London, has called for a communication strategy to end the public’s exaggerated perception that nuclear radiation is harmful to human health #nuclear https://t.co/5GdbbPn81t
With the #Uranium spot price breaking the $27/lb barrier this week is uranium gathering momentum ahead of year end. Last weeks @NuclearSympo had a renewed optimism amongst juniors as investors are starting to show interest again.
