@plateupgame is currently the best indie game out there, hands down. It's fun to play solo or with friends. Check it out if you haven't!

I will end on this note. I agree that we all would like it if games released without flaws, delays, or issues. Unfortunately that's just not where we are at this time. Call out the whole industry if you want, but don't call out single companies thinking that they don't all do it.

Unpopular opinion atm. Started playing GTA:San Andreas from the new definitive bundle and not only have I had no issues,but really like what @RockstarGames has done with it. I understand that PC users are currently getting screwed over, but it will get there. Everyone calm down.

Modern games just take way more resources, and due to their complexity are much more prone to game breaking bugs and other delays. Once consumers realize this better, maybe people won't get so angry. I understand it for some instances (example - Cyberpunk), but not this one.

@reallyProphet @arthfach @teamguilded Maybe that sounds a bit harsh... I suppose it's more cautiously optimistic. I just don't like getting seriously on board with something *cough Mixer* just to have the rug pulled out from under me when they try to expand or be like the rest of the big guys in their market.

@reallyProphet @arthfach @teamguilded I'll second the idea that competition is good. But I just don't have a lot of faith in these things because far too often a platform starts out saying and doing all the right things, and then they all seem to change focus once "they make it big".

@GoogleStadia For sure @RockstarGames GTA: San Andreas on the PS2. I have no way of knowing how much time exactly, but I would estimate that it was 2000+ hours.

@misterjkr I have always enjoyed streams (when I actually have the time to stick around and hang out), but I also like the idea of posting VODs of your streams on YouTube.

I have had premium for years now, but have noticed this when using YouTube if I'm not logged in. It's getting terrible, but I'm not sure what the right answer is. While I do recommend premium, I know it's not for everyone.

Literally cannot watch a youtube video without being buried in ads. 2 minute pre-rolls that don't even load the video and force me to refresh into another ad, 2 minute mid-rolls in a 7 minute video. Bruh
