A grassroots, cross-impairment DPO (Disabled Persons' Organisation) bringing you Ireland's first Disability Pride and Power Festival 2022 and Parade 2023
While we sadly have to take a Crip Time-Out to recover, build capacity & resources for our next festival in July 2027, we thank our wonderful community for years of support and wish you a Happy Disability Pride Month 2025! We’ll celebrate together again soon❤️💛🤍💙💚🖤⚡️
We held a press event today to call on all those people living with a Disabilty and those caring to vote @catherinegalway no.1 in the upcoming presidential election.
Her support has been unwavering as opposed to a candidate who looks at us as a financial burden.
Vote Connolly No.1

One of our members has been made homeless, with his power chair and belongings thrown out. He is unable to register as homeless or for emergency accommodation. Help needed urgently, please share
@MccannPierce Apparently he has and says they are useless- part of the loop of referrals. But thank you for the very good suggestion and for trying to help!
One of our members, Savas, came home to find all his stuff thrown out, incl. his powerchair: his supposed landlord was illegally subletting. He is now homeless but nowhere will register him as homeless for emergency accommodation as he has a migrant Stamp 2... (1/2)
The loop of referrals has been fruitless with DCC, Focus, Simon, MRCI, etc. He is staying in a private hostel using the last of his savings. If anyone can help with advice or political representation please share and let us know (2/2) @AccessForAll7@TomClonan@CatuIreland
